Global Peace was launched on 27 July 2018, by the Chair of ACCORD’s Board of Trustees, Mrs. Graça Machel at a luncheon hosted by South African President Cyril Ramaphosa for twenty Heads of State attending the 2018 BRICS Plus Summit. Working through young people across the world and with governments, multi-lateral agencies, the private sector, and civil society partners, Global Peace will become an ecosystem for Ideas, Innovators, Influencers, Investors and Implementers to find practical solutions to global challenges enhancing conflict prevention and strengthening the global multi-lateral system.
