swaggr
www.getswaggr.comHey everyone! Thanks for checking us out. We cannot be more excited about launching swaggr and sharing it with y’all (yes, we now live in Texas). We are born and raised Wisconsites, and proud of it! Fish Fry on Fridays, Packers on Sundays, life was good. We have always been entrepreneurs and also very active -- sports, hiking, etc. The focus of swaggr from the beginning has always been to help the environment and attain undeniable comfort and durability. One of the things that has led us to starting this business is that we both need to feel that we are serving a purpose greater than ourselves. With plastics ruining the oceans and the marine life, we knew this was a cause we needed to get behind. It’s hard not to get excited when you see a sea turtle appear to smile in a picture, or when you watch a video of a whale that appears to be happily launching itself out of the water. However, it’s life changing when you start researching and immerse yourself in the dramatic effects that plastic has on these and all other marine life. Furthermore, not just the marine life, but the ocean itself. Last October, we got sick of having to deal with athletic socks always wearing out and being uncomfortable. So, in March of this past year, David flew to North Carolina for training on how to manufacture socks. Since then, we have been working with a team of specialists to come up with the perfect blend. Well, lucky for us, and the rest of the world, we have found that blend. The focus, as we mentioned, has always been to save the oceans and its inhabitants. So, without further adieu, we would like to introduce you to swaggr -- athletic socks made almost entirely from recycled plastic bottles, unbelievably comfortable (obviously), and that will fit anyone from a kid’s size one to a men’s size sixteen (16). We look forward to the future! swaggr on!
