The UAntwerp Solar Boat Team is a student organization from the University of Antwerp dedicated to designing, constructing and racing solar-powered boats. The team was founded in 2007 and has since competed in various national and international competitions. In 2022, the team finished 6th in the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge in the open solar class with their boat ‘Shark’. The team consists of students from the faculty of applied engineering at the University of Antwerp. The team works closely together to bring their projects to life. The team is always looking for new members passionate about sustainable energy and marine engineering.
