Urban Triage is grounded and founded on transformative education centering Black people, Black voices, and Black communities. We’ve designed dynamic programming that utilizes a multidisciplinary framework that amplifies economic empowerment, trauma recovery, healing, and agency. Urban Triage, Inc. fosters, develops, and strengthens Black economics, self-sufficiency, community leadership, advocacy, and family success through psychoeducation, community engagement, trauma response, healing, and cultural heritage. Our vision is to empower and inspire breakthroughs and transformation by way of education and leadership in Black communities. Urban Triage, Inc. also works with allies by providing consulting services that include workshops, keynote speaking, workgroups, strategic planning, and change management. Urban Triage, Inc. has directly impacted and transformed thousands of lives by developing life-changing programming and mobilizing community resources to distribute them to those most in need. By building social capital and trust within Wisconsin communities and within systems, Urban Triage engages systems in implementing systematic, sustainable, and clinically sound approaches to health behavior and prevention.
