Carrington Place is a 59,000 square foot skilled nursing facility located in the heart of Historic Downtown Matthews, NC. Carrington Place is designed around patient and resident needs with those needs as the focal point of all interior and exterior design. Since 1994, Carrington Place has been a dedicated skilled nursing provider in the Matthews area. Carrington Place offers both short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care. Rehabilitation / Sub-acute Care (Short-Term): The sub-acute short-term care unit is a 33-bed unit The expected length of stay for short-term care varies from 1-3 weeks depending on medical needs. care provided on this unit is comprehensive nursing and intensive rehabilitation. The goal of the Rehab/Sub-acute unit is to return the patient to their highest level of function so they may safely return home. Skilled Nursing (Long-term): The skilled nursing units are focused on providing long-term care skilled nursing care. Residents in these units require a wide variety care and services for residents requiring long-term skilled nursing care.
