In response to the needs, the New York City Center was established in 1996 by Mr. Chea Thilay, a respectful, ethical and responsible leader. In 2001, responding to the challenge of competition and in building in better image, it has adopted a new name "New York Thilay Institute". In 2002 responding financial support provide by Newton International Training , "New York Thilay Institute" has been rename as "Newton Thilay Institute". In 2005, responding to the advice of educational regulators and experts, Newton Thilay Institute adopted a new name "Newton Thilay School". In 2006, due to the substantial increase in market share and the business operations have grown so fast Mr. Chea Thilay has suggested to the management team to organize a family institution, which is called Newton Thilay Community. In January 2010, responding to the advice of Ministry of Commerce and General Taxation Department, Newton Thilay Community has Been renamed as "SAHAKUM NEWTON THILAY GROUP Co., Ltd" with the acronym "NTC GROUP", which cover all academic service of the following institutions : 1. Newton Thilay School (NTS) 2. Newton Thilay General Education Private School 3. Sovannaphumi School (SPS) 4. Sovannaphumi Training Center (STC) 5. Bridgeton School (BS) 6. American Pacific School (APS) 7. East-West International School (EWIS) 8. American-Chinese International School (ACIS)
