When parents are told the worst news that their child has cancer, Children with Cancer UK are there to help keep families together. We liberate visionary researchers and accelerate breakthroughs, so more children can ring the end of treatment bell. Over the past 30 years we have raised over £290 million to fight the injustice of cancer in children. We have helped fund four research centres of excellence in the UK and over 200 research projects, including the development of a Minimal Residual Disease Test which is now part of the standard NHS treatment for all young acute lymphoblastic leukaemia patients. We have helped to drive childhood cancer survival rates up from 63.7% in 1990 to a predicted 84% in 2017.* With your help, one day we will achieve our vision of a world where every child survives their cancer diagnosis.
