Aeolus Tyres, listed on the Shanghai stock exchange, is one of the global leading players in the commercial tire business, with more than 50 years of experience in the market. Aeolus's majority shareholder is Sinochem Group, the same majority shareholder of Pirelli, its sister company. Aeolus is specialized in producing and selling tires for commercial vehicles and earth-moving machinery all around the globe. Thanks to his international footprint and the collaboration with more than 140 business partners, Aeolus serves fleets in all five continents, from the US, Canada, and Mexico in North America, to Europe, Asia, Latin America, and Australia. The company's headquarters and Research & Development department are located in Jiaozuo/Henan in China, where the production facilities span a floor area of 1.300.000 sqm with more than 9.000 employees. Aeolus holds 10% shares of Prometeon Tyre Group (PTG), formerly Pirelli Industrial, the Pirelli company managing the business in commercial tires (Truck, Agro, OTR). On November 2020, China National Tire & Rubber Co. Ltd. (CNRC) entrusted to Aeolus 52% of the shares in PTG, and in June 2022 entrusted an additional 38%. As a result, Aeolus Tyre was entrusted with 90% of the shares of Prometeon Tyre Group, which, added to the 10% owned directly, represents 100% of the shares of PTG.
