Science and Technology Angels Network (STAN) is a group of prominent Armenian professionals from all over the globe who have come together to invest in the Armenian seed stage startups that are engaged in science and technology innovation. Besides providing access to the risk capital, STAN also comprises vast expertise that will be leveraged to support the companies with strategic advice, mentorship, introductions, and connections for their development. Mission STAN undertakes a mission of powering innovation and technological breakthrough in Armenia by providing support for science and technology startup companies through investment and advice in their potential profit-making ventures. Vision STAN Members share a common vision of Armenia becoming a research and innovation powerhouse. Objectives The objectives of the Network are as follows: - To facilitate joint investments in science and technology startups in Armenia. - To facilitate joint initiatives in connection with projects and investments. - To share best practices among business angel investors, to strengthen their network and increase investors’ non-financial value through their membership. - To assist in communication with potential investors and partners of the angel investors. - To assist each member in pursuing his/her investment policies for increasing the value of the investments.
