The Ohio University Chapter of the American Meteorological Society is a student-run on-campus organization that strives to unite all students with a passion for meteorology and provide them with professional and educational opportunities. We also have many outreach and volunteer events every semester, such as our Adopt-A-Highway trash cleanups in Athens County, packing food boxes at the SE Ohio Food Bank, and going to science nights at local elementary schools to teacher students about weather.
