Today the Centre for Development Economics and Sustainability (CDES) at Monash Business School promotes cross-disciplinary research in the thematic areas of development and sustainability, by bringing together researchers from a variety of academic backgrounds in the Monash Business School engaged in global sustainable development issues encompassing the three dimensions of economic, social and environmental sustainability. CDES strives for policy impact and external engagement within and beyond the world of academia.
