Since 1994, ACE has served over 1 million hours in low-income communities in the Austin, Texas area, teaching young struggling students in kindergarten, first, and second grade how to read. ACE is an early childhood literacy program at the Charles A. Dana Center, an organized research unit within the College of Natural Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin.
