The Lancaster International Short Film Festival seeks to support the international independent film community by offering an annual competitive event with cash awards and establish Lancaster, Pennsylvania, as an annual destination for directors, producers, actors and aficionados of an under-appreciated medium –short films. At the local level, we seek to present an evolving dynamic community experience for the inhabitants of Lancaster County by collecting & presenting ideas explored through film and connecting local artists/film-makers with the larger film community while employing local freelance illustration, graphic design and video production firms to participate in its annual aesthetic presence.
