Coastlink - Central Coast

www.coastlink.org.au

Coastlink provides family-focused and people-centred care to people at all stages of life who have a physical, intellectual, sensory, social or age-related disability. Our purpose is to improve the daily lives of the people we assist to help them maintain independence and make connections within our community. Operating for more than 30 years, Coastlink is the number one disability and aged care provider on the Central Coast. Coastlink offers opportunities for social interaction, engagement and skill development for young people and adults living with disability. We provide individual assistance and support to help people living with disability to lead fulfilled and independent lives. We also support seniors to remain living independently at home, and provide programs to allow them to connect, engage and contribute to our community. We coordinate regular activities between Sydney, the Central Coast and Newcastle, and run community centre programs at Mangrove Mountain, Patonga and Green Point. Managing a customised fleet of buses enables easy access to these services and activities. In 2018, Coastlink opened its first group home, Rainford Lodge. Coastlink is funded by the NSW Department of Family and Community Services, the NSW Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Our seniors’ services are currently funded primarily by the Commonwealth Home Supports Program (CHSP).
