SubwayCreatures was created in 2011 and after its success, it was only fitting for WhatIsNewYork to be next in line. The social media account celebrates all of the bizarre, talented, funny, & interesting spectacles New York City has to offer. The website, however, offers much more. By creating this platform, we are able to put a spotlight on New York culture using the many eccentric voices and personalities that inhabit it.
