In 1904, Alpha Kappa Psi was founded on the principles of educating its members and the public to appreciate and demand higher ideals in business and to further the individual welfare of members during college and beyond. The Beta Chi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi at Louisiana State University was chartered in 1949 and rechartered in 1999. Our chapter is recognized as one of the premier chapters of Alpha Kappa Psi, with our chapter winning several awards such as Best Business Organization at LSU, Best Student Organization at LSU, and multiple Chapter of the Year Awards through Alpha Kappa Psi. Alpha Kappa Psi continuously seeks ways to add value to the member experience. Our vision is to be "the premier developer of principled business leaders."
