Generation-Z often fall victim to a narrative that is recycled by older generations: that we are “snowflakes” who have little concern for anyone but ourselves. As members of this generation, we know that this is not the case. Everyday, young people find ourselves having interesting and inspirational discussions about the issues of the world. The editors of Gen-Z Talks created this online magazine to provide Gen-Zs with a platform to engage in important dialogue. With a strong focus on issues surroundings race, gender and politics, we aim to enlighten and educate other Gen-Zs, opening their minds to the realities of the world around them and equipping them with the tools and knowledge to become agents of social change.
