The 5-HT Digital Hub for Chemistry and Health is part of the Digital Hub Initiative initiated by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action to promote digital innovation in Germany. The aim of the hub is to speed up innovations and start-ups in both areas and to accelerate the development of new business models and market-ready solutions. To this end, it offers start-ups, scientific institutions and established companies a central platform for networking, exchange and cooperation as well as the opportunity to build up their own digital ecosystem. Der 5-HT Digital Hub für Chemie und Gesundheit ist Teil der vom Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz initiierten Digital Hub Initiative zur Förderung der digitalen Innovation in Deutschland. Ziel des Hubs ist es, Innovationen und Gründungen in beiden Bereichen schneller voran zu treiben bzw. die Entwicklung neuer Geschäftsmodelle und marktreifer Lösungen zu beschleunigen. Hierfür bietet er Startups, wissenschaftlichen Institutionen und etablierten Unternehmen eine zentrale Plattform zum Netzwerken, Austauschen und Kooperieren sowie die Möglichkeit ein eigenes, digitales Ökosystem aufzubauen.
