The OEW - Organisation for A soliday world is a non-profit organisation committed to North-South issues. Our activities focus on awarenesse rising and are thematically based on three focal points: International Cooperation, Diversity and Coexistence, Conscious Consumption. Offering close to 400 workshops for schools, associations and companies, our speakers are on the road all year round on socially critical topics in South Tyrol. Since 2014, the OEW has also been the publisher of the bilingual monthly street paper zebra., which currently offers to 60 salespeople a dignified occupation and a small income. Since 2017 zebra. is part of the INSP, the international network of street papers. The in-house specialised library forms the backbone of the educational offers and initiatives. Overall, the OEW has maintained contact with partnership projects in Africa and South America for around 30 years and enables young South Tyroleans to do internships abroad. The OEW is a national umbrella organisation of a total of 43 member groups, including several One World groups and world shops.
