That Old Chestnut is a small vegan bakery in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Life began in 2009 holding a stall once a month at Kirkgate Farmer’s Market. We now supply to a number of cafes, delis and shops within the Leeds, Harrogate and York area as well as popping up at various stalls and events. We source the majority of our ingredients from Lembas Ltd (a Sheffield based wholefoods company), and The Natural Food Store – a cooperative in Headingley. Our fresh ingredients are bought from local grocers and Leeds Kirkgate Market – helping us support local independent businesses. All our food is 100% vegan and we run our business with the following values as much as possible: local, sustainable, ethical and handmade.
