Paideia Academy | Knoxville
www.paideiaknoxville.orgPaideia Academy is a classical Christian school in Knoxville, Tennessee, seeking to partner with Christian parents in the education of the whole child from a Christ-centered worldview, with robust and rewarding academics, in a dynamic, discipling community. Located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Knoxville is consistently recognized as one of the nation’s best mid-sized cities. We enjoy four beautiful seasons, great neighborhoods, churches, restaurants, events, and people. While Paideia maintains membership in the Association of Classical and Christian Schools (ACCS), our school is not accredited in order to give us the most flexibility in our curriculum and hiring practices. We are considered a Category IV Church-related Exempted School by the State of Tennessee. We have not found this to be a limiting factor - our graduates are being accepted to the colleges of their choice, often with merit-based scholarships. We are always accepting applications from qualified teacher candidates. Our first priority is to find teachers of strong Christian faith who love learning themselves, and who, in turn, inspire students to learn. Prior teaching experience in classical methodology is preferred.
