Gujarat Biotechnology Research Center (GBRC) has been established by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat to undertake Biotechnology research in the state priority areas. The major strength of GBRC is Biobanking, Bioprospecting, Genomics, and Bioinformatics. The focus of GBRC is to conduct cutting-edge research leading to Product/ Prototype/ Process development with application in Healthcare, Agriculture, Environment, and Marine.
