Same Same But Different is a two day music and arts festival experience planned for September 22nd & 23rd of 2018, geared towards celebrating our different ideas, beliefs, backgrounds and circumstances. The world we live in today has become segmented in our beliefs. Some blame traditional media like the news, others blame social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter for creating an “echo chamber” to shut out other’s opinions and only allow in those that are the same as your own. We hope to shed a light on this and open each other up to the idea that maybe other people have a reason for believing something different than yourself and that sometimes it’s more important to listen to those people than to shut them out. Same Same But Different will be set on the beautiful backdrop of Lake Perris. In addition to the great music selection, SSBD Fest features car camping, a lake with swimming, a giant beach, many hiking trails, yoga classes, art classes, and so much more. It's the perfect weekend getaway.
