SOSITALIA was founded in 1994 as an Engineering Company to sale machinery, plants and installations, and technological transfer for the sanitary fittings production. It soon developed a sales network for “Made in Italy” components (ceramic disc and thermostatic cartridges, head parts, diverters, aerators, flexible hoses etc.). In 1996 SOSITALIA opened the first Representative Office in Beijing to develop the sale of Italian machinery, plants and components to Chinese and international companies which, in those years, were starting to operate in Asia From the mid to late 1990s SOSITALIA developed a series of Turnkey Factory and Technological Transfer projects in China, India, South Africa, Thailand, Egypt and Turkey. Since 2000 SOSITALIA has been operating in cross-trading for the sale of sanitary fittings components produced in Italy, Europe and Asia, initiating the "Virtual Factory" business model. Over the years SOSITALIA has continued to expand, implementing its presence on international markets with customers and suppliers in 5 continents. Since 2018, the majority shareholder Giovanni Pitturru has become the sole owner of the company, acquiring all of the company shares.
