For the past 37 years, Challenge of Tarrant County has been dedicated to confronting substance misuse in Tarrant County by Identifying needs, educating the community, mobilizing resources, promoting collaboration, and advocating for sound public policy. Through its broad-based coalitions, Challenge advocates for the most effective forms of substance use disorder prevention, intervention, and treatment. With more than 250 community partners involved in an array of coalition activities, Challenge has a wealth of resources available to accomplish its goals. Since its establishment in 1984, Challenge leverages resources and engages community partners to develop a comprehensive continuum of care for Tarrant County.
