MAT ABACUS Business School was formed as the result of a merger in July 2019, between the Management and Accountancy Training Company “MAT” (Established in 1998) and Abacus Business School “ABS” (Established in 2014). This created synergies for the two institutions to tap into each other’s strengths. MAT ABACUS is one of only five Approved Learning Partners “ALP’s” at the Platinum level in Africa, it has a custom equipped training center with modern teaching facilities, utilizing over 10,000 square feet of classroom space. We also provide quality education and training for industry and business practitioners across all sectors and levels of management. Through the interactions with top leadership of the different companies in the various sectors, MABS™ identified a glaring gap in the current education system. To an extent the curriculum delivered by most institutions does not resonate with the existing and emerging industry needs. In a dynamic environment, there is also a need for even those who are already in employment to re-skill and up-skill to be able to remain relevant in this Volatile Uncertain Complex and Ambiguous (VUCA) environment.
