Colombia Reports is an independent news outlet. Our objective is to independently report what happens in Colombia to a global, English-speaking audience. The news website was founded in 2008 by Dutch journalist Adriaan Alsema, now "enfant errible-in-chief" of Colombia Reports. With our reporting, we hope to expand knowledge on Colombian current events, while provoking thought and debate on our Facebook page. The website is funded mainly by voluntary reader contributions and has an open Editorial Board for readers, who are mainly from the United States, Europe and Canada.
