Television Industry Committee (TIC) – is a professional association of leading TV-Channels and Media Agencies. TIC represents interests of television industry and media industries of Ukraine and cares for its members' protection. The main purpose of TIC is to promote the development of television and media industries in Ukraine. In the TIC represented: 4 major television group (Inter Media Group, Media Group Ukraine, 1+1 media, StarLightMedia) and major media groups (Publicis Groupe, Omnicom Media Group, razom communications). TIC’s main development strategies are: ► Television Audience Research The goal is to provide the market reliable and consistent system of television audience measurement. ► Development of television industry The goal is to raise the competitiveness of television among other media and communication platforms and to promote television market development. ► Self regulation The goal is to be the effective mechanism to implement common interests of association participants. TIC is a member of international and Ukrainian organizations in the field of TV broadcasting and media research. Also TIC’s representatives are members of the public councils, working groups, expert commissions in key media institutions. TIC actively cooperates with industry associations on media self-regulation, TV audience measurement, review and revision legislation and regulation on television, advertising and film production.
