As the face of Charlotte changes so do the organizations representing our city's diverse population. The Mayor's International Cabinet (MIC) and Charlotte Sister Cites (CSC) recently merged to form the Charlotte International Cabinet (CIC). By combining the resources of the MIC and CSC, the Charlotte International Cabinet can more effectively provide for the growing needs of our community in areas such as business, immigration, education and cultural enrichment. The vision of the CIC is to encourage educational, business, and cultural exchanges and dialogue between the City of Charlotte, its citizens, and the greater international community. The CIC is committed to strengthening the City’s international position by developing informed citizenry and civic and business leaders committed to enhancing Charlotte’s role as an international city. The CIC will utilize Charlotte’s Sister Cities as catalysts for building further relationships between Charlotte and the world.
