The Racial Justice Institute promotes leadership, education, engagement, research, and advocacy to advance racial justice and empower individuals to address and eliminate systemic and institutional racism. Racial justice is not just a short-term outcome, but a desired value and outcome of strategic and intentional action focused on: Antiracism – the process of identifying and eliminating systemic and institutional barriers for historically marginalized individuals and communities. Racial equity – providing equitable resources and opportunities that are not predicated by race, racial identity, or racial biases.
