Coventry Refugee and Migrant Centre (CRMC) welcomes and empowers asylum seekers, refugees and other migrants in Coventry to rebuild their lives and achieve their potential. Forming from our humble beginnings in the back of a local laundrette, the charity has grown exponentially during the past two decades and now assists over 4,000 people each year. This includes destitute families, victims of trafficking, modern slavery, unaccompanied children and those escaping conflict zones from around the world. Throughout this growth, our aim to welcome and empower those seeking sanctuary in a safe and supportive manner has remained constant. This has been made possible due to the unwavering kindness, dedication and expertise of the charity’s volunteers, staff, board members, funders and partners. To achieve our aims, we deliver a wide range of front-line and partner services to meet all the immediate support needs our clients may have. These range from employment and immigration advice, to therapy services, English classes, social groups and so much more. Each supports the people we exist to serve to rebuild their lives, enabling them to integrate into their local communities, while also encouraging them to contribute fully to the life of Coventry; all within a safe and dignified environment.
