Prestonwood Christian Academy is celebrating its 20th school year serving more than 1,600 students enrolled at three campuses: Plano (Pre-Kindergarten 3 through 12th grade), PCA North in Prosper (Pre-Kindergarten 3 through 7th grade) and PCAplus Virtual Academy. Established in 1997 Prestonwood Christian Academy has grown from its humble beginnings to one of the largest private schools in the Dallas Metroplex, and has been recognized as one of the strongest Christian schools in the country providing intentional biblical worldview training and integration. PCA places great value on the growth of students’ spiritual health in addition to their academic endeavors and co-curricular activities. In addition to PCA’s spiritual development plan, the school promotes a rigorous Liberal Arts academic program. The quality of a PCA education continues to strengthen and is evidenced by many important points ranging from a student’s life that has been transformed by God, to objective data that is academic-related data, such as our students’ standardized testing to reports from credible accreditation agencies. During the past ten years. over 3,226 students and parents have experienced this transformation through salvation. Beginning with the first graduating class in 2002 through the 2016 graduating class of 2016, PCA’s nearly 1,400 graduates have garnered $86.2 million in scholarships. Nearly 80 students have been recognized as National Merit Commended and Finalists. And, more recently, PCA hosted five separate Accreditation Site Visits in a successful pursuit of Dual Accreditation, one with AdvancED and an Exemplary Accreditation with ACSI-Association of Christian Schools International.
