Welcome to the Endoscopy Center of Southwest Virginia, which began operations in February 2005 as the first independent out-patient center for gastrointestinal endoscopy in Southwest Virginia. The physicians of Gastroenterology Consultants of Southwest Virginia wanted to provide endoscopic services of the highest quality with less expense and greater convenience for our patients. Our fellowship-trained specialists have performed over 60,000 procedures since the Center opened. We provide diagnostic and therapeutic upper endoscopy(esophagogastroduodenoscopy or EGD) and lower endoscopy (colonoscopy) services in a convenient and safe environment. We focus on continuous quality improvement, using state-of-the-art digital video equipment. However, our strongest asset may be our caring and attentive staff who work hard to make your experience as comfortable as possible.
