The NYMFF has been created to showcase, nurture, and support the emerging creative filmmaker that uses the latest technology available from a mobile device (cell phone or Ipad) to create stories in a cinematic way. On our second edition, we are looking for narrative and documentaries in a short form as well as sketches, skits, vblogs and music videos. 10 min max We want to show to the world that now more than ever, filmmakers are in control of their own stories and the new mobile technology catapults the filmmaker from concept to completion without waiting for a major investor or a network to approve their work.
