We are a generative space and a catalyzing force for sustainability research and practice, knowledge creation and action. Our global community of transformation “pracademics” (both practitioner and researcher) is responding to a growing recognition that we need new approaches to address climate change and other existential threats to social-ecological systems. We strive to act as a bridge for connecting people who is working to catalyze transformations across different sustainability-related domains (e.g. water, energy, food, biodiversity), siloed disciplines and fields, places and cultures, and institutional settings like academia, government, NGOs, private sector. Over the past eight years, we have convened conferences in Oslo, Stockholm, Dundee, Santiago and online in 2021. We are looking forward to our next Transformations Conference 2023 in Sydney, Australia.
