Jim Samuel Communications
www.jimsamuel.comHi. I'm Jim Samuel and I can help you market your business. I have time available to help a few, select clients on a consulting or freelance basis. I've been working in marketing since 1984, when I decided to give up a career as a newspaper reporter and went to work for one of the premier advertising and public relations agencies in the Philadelphia region. After that, I went on to work at other agencies in the region, and worked as a marketing consultant for nine years, before I took a corporate job. During my career, I have completed a lot of great work for a number of business, ranging from small businesses to large corporations such as Mars, Inc, Marriott Hotels and Resorts and Automatic Data Processing (ADP). One of my favorite achievements was a video that I wrote and produced for Scott Paper Company that introduced the company's extended length rolls of toilet paper. After generating coverage on dozens of television news programs across the country, that video was featured on “The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson” and got three-and-a-half minutes of airtime. The online world captured my attention in the mid-1980s when I would log onto CompuServe using a 300-baud modem. It did not take me long to see the potential of the Internet and by the mid-1990s, I was helping clients move onto the Web. Now, about 90 percent of my work is online. I now work for a Fortune 500 hospital management company, where I plan, develop, maintain and manage more than 200 websites. Digital marketing, search engine optimization and content development are my current focus areas, but I remain active in traditional media. I am now working to help business owners learn to market their businesses through my website, webinars and online courses, coaching and consulting services. I always enjoy talking with others about what they are doing, so please get in touch with me if you’d like to exchange ideas.
