Period Poverty is a worldwide issue. In some countries, young people miss an average of 12 weeks work and education every year due to the inability to carry out daily tasks because of the lack of sanitary provisions. These young people are unable to finish their schooling and start employment. At The BRAvery Trust we aim to reduce this issue by increasing awareness and providing support where we can. The BRAvery Trust will also work to raise the awareness and importance of self-checking for any signs of body irregularities. What we do: - Highlight period poverty as a global issue - Frequent delivery of bras, underwear and menstrual products - Educate people on the signs and symptoms of irregularities in the body - Create a safe space for people to talk openly about their bodies and reduce the stigma around this topic Why?
