The Players
www.theplayersnyc.orgThe Players is a club of artists and arts lovers. Members are drawn from careers on the stage and screen, the visual arts, music and literature, as well as patrons of the arts from a wide range of professions. Together, we celebrate the richness of our creative communities with exclusive events and relaxed socializing. Though more than an actors club, performers have been part of our DNA since our founding by legendary actor Edwin Booth in 1888. Players were here before Broadway became Broadway, and we were present since the start of motion pictures, television, and new media. Our 1847 Gothic Revival style mansion on Gramercy Park is a treasure of the Gilded Age, and the clubhouse was named a National Historic Landmark in 1963. The Players is the oldest New York City membership club still in its original home. In recent years, the club has experienced its most significant growth in generations, while preserving its tradition of convivial, easygoing friendships among its arts-loving members. 2022/2023 BOARD OF DIRECTORS Officers and Executive Committee: President: Michael McCurdy 1st Vice President: Nichole Donjé 2nd Vice President: Phyllis Cox Secretary: Cate DiGirolamo Assistant Secretary: Lansing Moore Treasurer: Glauber Barbosa Assistant Treasurer: Karen Madden Managing Chair: Townes Coates Board Members: Bob Cohn, Katheryn Dougan, Malcolm Graff, Jeffrey Hardy, Natasha Ippolito, Roy Jackson, Wendy Miller, Charles Morey, Justin Dylan Nastro, Mark Orsini, Kevin Winebold, Heather Winters, Jennifer Yadav Senior Professional Staff: Jonathan Masel | General Manager Eileen Mulligan | Director of Membership & Programming Erika Dea | Controller Domingo Reyes | Clubhouse Manager Ruth Anasu | Banquet and Events Manager
