Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology was established in the year 2005 under the aegis of Guru Nanak Education Trust. The institute is situated at Panihati, Sodpur, Kolkata-700114. The institute runs five post graduate courses in Pharmacy, respectively in Pharmaceutical Chemistry (started from 2011), Pharmacology (started from 2012), Pharmaceutics (started from 2013), Pharmaceutical quality assurance (started from 2020), and Regulatory Affairs (started from 2020) with due affiliations from MAKAUT, AICTE, and PCI. The institute has obtained additional accreditations from NAAC In March, 2016 valid till March,2021 with a CGPA of 2.7 in a scale of 4 with Grade B. The UG-pharmacy program of the institute is accredited by National Board of Accreditation since July,2016. The accreditation has been renewed for another period of three years till June 2022. We have consecutively ranked in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for last four years.
