The company was started by Graeme Skinner (managing director) in 1998 and provides expert advice and consultancy for all ecological aspects of UK planning applications; working with a wide range of clients, from individuals to large multinational corporations. Addressing the ecological impact of a project is now a mandatory part of complying with guidelines issued by Local Authorities in accordance with Planning Policy Statement 9 (PPS9) and enforced by statutory bodies such as: Natural England DEFRA Scottish Natural Heritage Countryside Commission for Wales NWC have a 100% record in applying for protected species development licences.
