Ninestiles, An Academy is a high-performing secondary school in Acocks Green, Birmingham. Part of Summit Learning Trust, with seven schools and a sixth form college, it is focused on providing its students with the best possible education enabling them to achieve their goals. A UNICEF accredited Rights Respecting School, Ninestiles champions the values of respect, commitment and achievement. It is attended by 1,500 students at its campus that is adjacent to Fox Hollies Leisure Centre, giving the school access to additional sports facilities. It became an academy in 2011. Ninestiles, An Academy is dedicated to tackling disadvantage and removing barriers to learning to ensure all students can reach their potential. Students learn to respect themselves and the community they are part of, showing understanding and tolerance of the school’s culturally diverse student cohort. Highly skilled and dedicated staff facilitate great learning, and through an inspirational, knowledge-rich curriculum ensure exceptional progress - achieved through hard work and consistent commitment to improvement. All staff, including non-teaching roles, take a positive and active interest in the progress of the school and of students taking great pride in their accomplishments whether academic, sport, music, drama, the arts or contributing to the local community.
