Wage Inspectorate Victoria is an independent regulator with a vision to create productive and prosperous workplaces for all Victorians. We're responsible for promoting and enforcing compliance with Victorian laws covering wage theft, long service leave, child employment and owner drivers and forestry contractors. We give practical advice, information and support to employees, employers and contractors. We also investigate non-compliance with the law and can take action against employers who break the rules.
