www.boldlivingwear.coTO A LIFE OF DISTINCTION, COURAGE, RESILIENCE AND DETERMINATION We offer clever and positive wearable expressions for those living a life of distinction, courage, imagination and confidence. Those motivated in simply being themselves or in changing their communities and the world for better. Join the movement! Angelica's Story - When I took a sabbatical to raise my two newborn sons and travel with my husband's work overseas, I had then built a successful career in technology creating innovative business solutions to Fortune 500 companies. Few years later when circumstances lead me to return to the workforce I could not find a job. I was deemed outdated and perhaps "old". I decided then to reignite an old dream to start my own business. So I attended Goizueta's Executive MBA while raising two sons at elementary school age and caring for my elderly mother, who passed away 9 months before my graduation. Women should not be penalized for being mothers or simple for being women, after all there isn't a man who has not benefited from the sacrifices of a woman. Since my graduation I have earned my first patent acting as my own patent lawyer because I could not afford one. Unfortunately I didn't have the capital to manufacture and bring that product to market. I kept going and learning along the way. Still today women entrepreneurs receive less than 3% of all capital available for startups, and this is very unfair. The passion for empower women and their families grew stronger with the barriers and I am determined to proof that age, gender or ethnicity is not a limitation to what one can do or achieve, only the size of their dream and their determination to make it true. I am also the founder of a technology startup with a pending patent in a niche of digital media and messaging ZIPPYAR.
