The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) is India's leading recognized professional society devoted to the advancement of Science and Technology of Electronics, Telecommunication & IT. The IETE is the National Apex Professional body of Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Science and IT Professionals. The Institution provides leadership in Scientific and Technical areas of direct importance to the national development and economy The IETE focuses on advancement of the Science and Technology of Electronics, Telecommunication, Computers, Information Technology and related areas. Towards this end the Institution promotes and conducts basic engineering and continuing technical education programs for human resource development. The IETE - KJSIEIT Chapter organizes technical activities like, conferences, workshops, exhibitions, technical tours. We also provide continuing education, guiding classes/ laboratory assistance. We host two major technical fests a year namely : Renaissance - Our college Technical Fest and Oscillations - Technical Fest hosted by IETE which is held all over India. The main aim of IETE - KJSIEIT is to teach students about topics that do not belong to the curriculum but are important in the modern world. We also teach them how to work together in a team, learn modern technologies. The students also learn communication and presentation skills and hence, gain confidence in what they do.
