ECA was founded in 2011 to provide emerging and established artists with opportunities for their work to be seen by the public. We do this through producing residencies, exhibitions and pop-up shows, as well as highlighting local, contemporary art events we find interesting. In 2019 we opened ANTI-AESTHETIC, a space dedicated to serving artists and engaging the community through contemporary art practice and production. We also occasionally produce Bottleracks & Fountains – a podcast about sustaining contemporary art and culture in a small town.
