In 2020, I Want a Woman President by author, Lolu Adebayo, is a little book with a big message. It’s a book about women in leadership; it’s about women in politics; and ultimately it’s about our nation electing a woman President - It’s about a nation evolving and accepting that many women are capable and qualified to become Commander in Chief of our great nation. This small volume is designed to start a movement that promotes this idea across America. The seriousness of this message is encased in a delightful rendition of the author’s life as he arrives in America, educates himself, and takes notice around him how women are not viewed as equal to men. This happens in school, in college, on the job, and ultimately in politics. He notices how women are still thought of as a “minority” when a closer look reveals they actually represent a strong “majority.” The author speculates what women might accomplish if our country perceived them as the majority they are and if they ruled as that majority, especially in politics.
