Founded in 1905, Northwest Missouri State University is a state-assisted, four-year regional university with a recognized tradition of quality education. Northwest is governed by a state-appointed Board of Regents and accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. All students receive free books and a free notebook computer to accommodate their learning experience.
