Our mission, as a think tank, is simple. We are here to help organisations find their human side. You may be thinking that sounds a bit 'fluffy' or that you already value your people as your greatest asset. However, we believe that most organisations are still to find their human side and only those that can make everything human are able to fully unlock the true potential of their people. An organisation that treats its people as human beings and not human resources is also more likely to attract and retain the best staff, have lower levels of absence and have higher levels of employee engagement. A human-centric approach can be applied to almost all areas of the employee lifecycle and often the changes require just a shift in attitude rather than a complete redesign of culture and process. In the past few years we have seen organisations such as Virgin, EY and Accenture all begin to develop their human side with initiatives such as '100% Human at work' and 'Truly Human' which demonstrates the growing popularity of a human-centric approach.
