The Plantagenet Global Charitable Fund for Peace, Justice, & Equality (“The Plant Fund”) www.plantfund.org Our mission: To improve the quality of all life worldwide through the support of humanitarian, social, artistic, and environmental programs and organizations. The Fund focuses on: • the empowerment of women and girls worldwide, with an emphasis on education and health care; • preservation of the environment, including the support of indigenous cultures, the continued development of alternative and renewable energy sources, recycling programs, and the promotion of an organic, plant-based diet; • global natural and man-made disaster relief efforts; • the rights and welfare of animals, including support for no-kill shelters and sanctuaries, worldwide anti-cruelty legislation, the preservation of endangered species, and alternatives to vivisection; • arts and cultural institutions, organizations, and programs; • advocating for and preserving the civil rights of minority groups, people of color, women, and LGBTQIA+ individuals and communities worldwide; • providing educational and social opportunities and resources for at-risk and/or underserved youth; • supporting community-based programs and organizations that address issues such as poverty, hunger, mental illness, substance abuse, and homelessness, but are not limited to these; and, • encouraging peaceful dialogue between persons of different faiths, races, and cultures worldwide.
