IRCM has been set up by the British Association of Brain Injury and Complex Case Management (BABICM), the Case Management Society UK (CMSUK) and the Vocational Rehabilitation Association (VRA). What will IRCM do? IRCM will lead the professionalisation of case management by developing and maintaining a register that is accredited by the PSA. We are creating technical and professional standards, along with the criteria and processes required for application to join the register. We will work closely with the existing membership groups to develop an educational strategy that underpins the IRCM standards for registration and provides an accredited educational route towards good quality case management practice. Business standards including finance, governance, PR and marketing are also currently being developed for the IRCM.
